About Broadfields

Broadfields Building Services was founded in 2004 by Howard Levitan who has more than 40 years of experience in the building industry. Together with the Directors, our experienced and dedicated team deliver building services for a broad range of commercial and domestic clients.

All the work is carried out by qualified, professional tradespeople who take pride in their work. Our many happy customers are a testament to our professional, reliable and high quality approach to each building project that we undertake. We are fully insured and our team are all CSCS certified.

When we are appointed, we take the time to ensure that work is carried out to the highest specification and that we meet all of our client’s expectations. We are adept at working around restrictions and experienced at scheduling work in such a way that keeps disruption to a minimum.

We ensure that the projects stay on budget, and no revisions are made without the prior approval of the client, and when changes are instructed, we strive to keep the cost implications to a minimum ensuring that the project still remains on schedule.


Our team comprises of skilled tradesmen, experienced Project Managers and the Directors who assign the right personnel to each stage of the project. Whether it is renovating one room or planning an entire office development, we have the right team for the job. Our Project Managers together with a Director run each project from start to finish and our after sales care guarantees complete peace of mind.

Howard Levitan, Director

With more than 40 years’ experience in the industry in the UK and South Africa, there’s not much Howard doesn’t know about the world of construction and refurbishment.

Howard set up Broadfields Building Services in 2005. Together with his Co-director Russell Shaw, Howard is responsible for the overall smooth running of the business. Howard uses his talents and extensive knowledge in achieving high quality and prestige building projects for his clients.

He takes a hands on approach and keeps a close eye on all projects to ensure his high standards are met at all times.

Russell Shaw, Director

Russell is a City and Guilds fully qualified Electrical Engineer having over 30 years’ experience as an Electrical Contractor.

As Director, Russell is responsible for all operational matters relating to the company. Together with his other duties, Russell is responsible for health and safety and client communication.

Russell’s technical expertise and attention to detail ensures that all projects are carried out to the high standard expected of the company within budget and, crucially on schedule and on time.

Clare Magner, Office Manager

Clare is in charge of the smooth running of the office and co-ordination and synchronization of all the different and diverse operations undertaken by the company.

Clare is also responsible for accounts, payroll and personnel issues as well as looking after both Directors which in itself is a full time job. Clare effortlessly deals with the lot without a word of complaint.

Clare enjoys being part of the larger successful Broadfields team or family (if you will) and is a key link within the team.

Sharon Mckeown & Sam Augustin, Maintenance Dept

Both Sharon and Sam look after the very busy Maintenance Department.

Their positive attitudes and ability to resolve problems is the key reason for their success in dealing with the stressful nature of the department.

Their polite and calm telephone manner puts our clients at ease and they are an asset to the company.
