Watling Street is a 5 story block of offices in the city. The building comprises of a ground floor and basement shop premises with 4 floors of offices and toilets above. We were appointed to strip out of the existing offices and refurbish the entire building to provide office accommodation to each floor and to link the existing basement to the ground floor shop with a new staircase.
The works included, stripping out existing offices and W.C’s, cutting out supporting structural walls to form new shop front, cutting out structural concrete slab to form new staircase to link the shop with the basement, new roof covering, new central heating and hot water system, new comfort cooling and fresh air ventilation, new electrical installation and LG 7 lighting, new lift car installation, new plaster to internal walls, new ceilings, wall tiling, sanitary fittings, new doors and decorations
We worked with the client’s Architect and M+E Consultant to ensure that the clients’ expectations were achieved. The works were completed within the 16 week programme and on budget.
